Summary:The Senior Revenue Integrity Data/Reporting Analyst is responsible for reporting and analytics needs around Revenue Cycle analytical and operational reporting needs that drive financial performance and informed decisions. The Senior Revenue Integrity Data/Reporting Analyst extracts and analyzes data from EPIC database(s), provides proactive high-level professional support in Revenue Data modeling as well as automating the pricing changes with potential missed revenue opportunities. Responsibilities:- Acts as a leader and subject matter expert for specific EPIC content issues, reporting, and solutions. Assists Revenue Integrity staff with analysis of complex systems and processes.
- Proactively researches and creates solutions through data analysis of current & proposed state.
- Translates complex data into relatable information and actionable activities that lead to positive outcomes.
- Analyzes and validates reporting results, identifying Revenue Cycle opportunity, escalating spikes in key performance indicators.
- Proactively assess systems, processes, and audit revenue integrity output data for accuracy and implements process improvement initiatives.
- Serves as an expert in the creation and maintenance of complex data models that will determine revenue impact for revenue generating projects across the health system.
- Use advanced logic-based critical thinking and decision making to accurately develop custom reports and then propose automation, when applicable.
- Seeks opportunities to optimize data reporting and analytics for the enhanced monitoring of charging trends and issues for the health system.
- Creates and maintains modeling tools to help revenue integrity and other revenue cycle departments measure the impact of performance interventions.
- Demonstrates the ability to provide meaningful information from raw data.
- Serves as a resource for educating and training others.
- Acts as a liaison with EPIC IT and Knowledge Management teams to facilitate the optimization of existing reporting or the creation of new reporting for Revenue Integrity.
Required Job Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer science, engineering, business analytics or other related fields.
- 5+ years of healthcare experience working with EPIC Revenue Cycle.
- EPIC Cogito, Clarity, Caboodle, or Revenue Data Model Epic certification.
- 5+ years of Experience with EPIC RWB, Slicer Dicer, Dashboard development.
- 5+ years of Power BI or Tableau experience or Knowledge.
- Experience with SQL programming or extracting EPIC Data from Clarity/Caboodle.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills along with problem-solving.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- High degree of accuracy and ability to collaborate with others.
