Job DescriptionThe Sr R&O) Maintenance Analyst is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and optimizing maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. This role serves as a key liaison between Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Contractors, and Vendors to ensure maintenance work is properly scoped, planned, resourced, and executed. The position combines maintenance planning, SAP administration, inventory coordination, contractor management, shutdown planning, and reliability improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Review maintenance notifications and work requests for completeness, accuracy, and scope definition.
- Convert maintenance notifications into detailed SAP work orders and prioritize work based on operational requirements.
- Develop maintenance job plans, schedules, labor estimates, and resource requirements in collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
- Conduct field walkdowns to validate job scope, identify safety considerations, and ensure accurate maintenance planning.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including identifying required materials, creating purchase requisitions, receiving parts, and managing inventory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with vendors for material procurement, repair scheduling, equipment servicing, and delivery coordination.
- Coordinate packaging, shipping, inspections, and documentation for equipment repairs, including pumps, motors, rollers, and other plant assets.
- Manage SAP maintenance processes, including work orders, notifications, scheduling, reporting, and data analysis.
- Lead maintenance shutdown and outage planning activities, including contractor coordination, resource allocation, and schedule management.
- Assign and manage outage job revision controls and ensure maintenance plans are properly documented and executed.
- Support reliability and preventive maintenance initiatives to improve equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs and generate reports to evaluate planning efficiency, schedule compliance, backlog management, and asset reliability.
- Conduct audits related to safety, contractor performance, TPM activities, housekeeping, and maintenance compliance.
- Manage maintenance support for site facilities, buildings, and grounds.
- Oversee contractor onboarding, safety training, permit compliance, and work execution while maintaining site safety standards.
- Provide support for spare parts management, including initial provisioning, inventory optimization, obsolescence reviews, and data corrections.
- Participate in daily operations meetings, planning sessions, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
- Provide maintenance leadership coverage and departmental support in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Spend approximately 50% of time in the field supporting maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and operational coordination.
QualificationsMust Have- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum three years of maintenance planning, reliability, maintenance supervision, or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience utilizing SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) or equivalent CMMS systems for maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Experience coordinating contractors, maintenance crews, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

COMPENSATIONThe annual base salary range for this position is
$88339-$110423k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
