Job Description

As a Sr R&O Maintenance Analyst Supervisor here at Solstice, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the reliability and operations maintenance analysis processes. You will lead a team of analysts, ensuring the effective implementation of maintenance strategies and the continuous improvement of our operations. Your expertise will be vital in identifying areas for enhancement, driving efficiency, and ensuring the reliability of our systems.

In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency and reliability of our operations, contributing to the success and sustainability of our business. Your leadership will be key in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise Pottsville Maintenance employees, providing leadership, coaching and developing the team.
  • Work with and provide leadership to maintenance teams in establishing and maintaining a robust Preventive Maintenance Optimization program.
  • Direct, review and approve temporary repairs and modifications to equipment - (e.g. piping repairs, rotating equipment, MOC's, etc.)
  • Lead Inspection, Testing and Preventive Maintenance (ITPM) of all equipment.
  • Direct site's on PSM-required PM programs, inspections, and documentation.
  • Secure resources to perform these functions as needed for the site. Identify and interface with preferred equipment manufacturers, specialists, and technical support consultants and vendors.
  • Contract and manage outside inspections firm(s) to perform ITPM for all vessels, piping systems, electrical power, and instrumentation and rotating machinery.
  • Sustain the on-going Mechanical Integrity compliance year over year, once the initial ITPM is completed. Establish Visual Management progress charts for Site Leadership, Maintenance Team, and Production to monitor progress.
  • Assist in developing and improving proactive equipment reliability strategies (Reliability Control Plans)
  • Develop, maintain and update maintenance documentation (e.g. repair reports, bill of materials, upgrade recommendations) for critical plant equipment.
  • Work with Maintenance Manager, Engineers and Supervisors to ensure that process improvements and capital work are done correctly.
  • Assist with rotating equipment vibration analysis and condition monitoring data interpretation, recommend actions based on these analyses.
  • Using Root Cause Analysis, 5-Y, Failure Mode Effects Analysis and other tools, provide analysis of failed equipment to determine and eliminate cause(s)
  • Actively identify and eliminate waste in plant processes, procedures and normal work activities.
  • Actively participate in helping to improve the work environment through cleanliness, good housekeeping and adherence to all environmental, health and safety policies. Support and participate in all Zero Incident Culture activities.
  • Comply with Solstice Cardinal Rules and Environmental Management policies.
  • Proactive in maintenance training to ensure maintenance employees have access to opportunities and resources to excel in their work performance.
  • Support the Solstice Operating System (SOS) by:
  • Owning the continuous improvement process for area of responsibility and actively supporting other areas; ensuring all employees are engaged in daily improvement activities.
  • Providing direction and guidance on where to focus attention and improvement efforts.
  • Teaching, mentoring and coaching employees on the key lean concepts, observation methods and the continuous improvement process, including their responsibilities to actively participate in the continuous improvement process.

  • Recognition and correction of unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Assess job tasks for PPE requirements.
  • Conduct scheduled safety and SSP meetings.

Qualifications

Must Have
  • High School/GED required.
  • 7 years of industrial plant maintenance and/or reliability engineering experience with at least 2 years in a Leadership role in a maintenance.

  • Mechanical machinery design selection, repair techniques & performance assessment experience.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certified preferred.
  • Experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual with proven success working independently and in a multifunctional team environment.
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite of software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience in a leadership role; temporary or interim assignment acceptable.
  • Well-rounded field experience applying maintenance engineering principals to mechanical repair work for a variety of typical process plant equipment.
  • Familiarity interpreting and applying state & federal regulatory requirements governing the operation & maintenance of pressure vessels, boilers, relief devices, tanks and piping.
  • Knowledge of engineering materials chemical compatibility and application as relates to plant equipment reliability.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the application of various welding practices.
  • Hands-on experience using SAP work management system or similar.
  • Practical experience facilitating Root Cause Failure Analysis and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis utilizing a selection of industry standard tools.
  • Working knowledge of drafting and project planning software (e.g. AutoCAD, Visio, MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Solstice Maintenance Excellence Standards is preferred. Working Conditions
  • May be required to respond in emergency situations at all hours, 7 days a week.

COMPENSATION

The annual base salary range for this position is $91610k -$114513k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
