Position Summary:

The Primary Function of the Sr. Program Manager will be to work directly with a cross-functional team who is responsible for the development of new medical devices and systems in the Surgical Division to:

Lead small and large NPD projects from start to finish, coordinate Design History File (DHF) transfers, Drive/Support the development of new products, drive expansion projects of existing products, and support on market products. Drive the teams to meet set cost, schedule and performance targets Ensure adherence to the appropriate design controls and Product Development process. Present status updates to Senior Management as needs.

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned as responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

What we expect:

The preferred candidates should include project or program management in NPD for medical device development.

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.

7+ years' experience managing complex NPD, business, commercial, or operations projects in medical device industry.

Strong project management skills including budgeting, planning, tracking, organization, attention to detail, managing competing priorities, analytical and critical thinking, sound engineering fundamentals

Executes project management skills such as defining project tasks, plans and resource requirements, demonstrating adherence to global PMO practices and templates, e.g. on-boarding, kickoff meeting, communication plan, standardized/template minutes, agenda, timetables, pre-meetings, project plans, project charters, risk registers/RAID logs, Gantt charts, Work Breakdown Structure.

Responsible for coordinating, driving, and managing service delivery issues through internal alignment to a solution and timeline with owners and talking points; resulting in external communication to clients.

Initiates proactive discussions with stakeholders to align expectations and develop relationships.

Assembles and reports program metrics and communicates program status and deliverables for both management and project teams. Prepare regular key client performance reports. This includes the maintenance of key analytics and metrics for each project component in their program and making them readily accessible to all stakeholders/investors for that client

Supports PMO initiatives to define and establish PMO best practices. Trains/mentors cross-functional teams on usage of PMO tools.

Mentors and guides other program and project managers.

Supports business on portfolio planning, development and prioritization.

Skill set:

Action oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized with a high-level drive for results and perseverance while acting in a professional and positive manner with minimal direction.

PMP preferred.

Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Clear communicator with strong ability to influence and lead a team of diverse stakeholders, including executives.

Candidates must have Valid authorization to work in the US

The annualized base salary range for this role is $138,000 - $230,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, education, business needs and market demand.
