Senior QA Developer, Full-Time opportunity On-Site - Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario

Your Impact:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Developer to join the Trading Grid Translation Services (TGTS) engineering team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of our enterprise products and services, including customer-facing cloud services and on-premises applications. The successful candidate will serve as a key quality advocate throughout the software development lifecycle, partnering closely with Development, Product Management, Support, and Operations teams to deliver high-quality releases and exceptional customer experiences.

This position requires a strong combination of test automation expertise, technical problem-solving skills, product knowledge, and the ability to investigate complex customer and production issues. The Senior QA Developer will play a critical role in maintaining release quality, improving automation coverage, validating deployments, and supporting rapid resolution of customer-impacting issues.

What you'll need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including test automation and enterprise application testing.
  • Strong expertise in developing automated tests using modern frameworks, tools, and programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with API, integration, and service-level testing in complex environments.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve customer-reported issues in distributed systems.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, with excellent communication, collaboration, and multitasking abilities.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-based services and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
  • Knowledge of EDI, B2B integration, data transformation, or supply chain integration solutions.
  • Experience with performance and scalability testing tools.
  • Familiarity with containerized environments and Kubernetes-based deployments.
