Senior Test Engineer / QA Automation Engineer with 7-15 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
test planning, manual and automated testing, API testing, test automation frameworks, CI/CD, defect management, and Agile/DevOps testing practices.
The candidate should be comfortable working with complex enterprise applications, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, and supporting multiple applications or business domains. Strong communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and ownership are critical for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans for complex enterprise applications.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and develop appropriate test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites.
- Identify opportunities to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing through automation.
- Perform defect identification, documentation, triage, tracking, and root cause analysis.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality engineering activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work closely with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and project teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop reusable automation components and frameworks.
- Communicate test results, quality risks, defects, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support multiple applications, projects, and business domains as priorities evolve.
- Quickly learn new applications, technologies, and business processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, automation frameworks, and overall quality engineering practices.
Required Skills and ExperienceCore Testing & Quality Engineering- 7-15 years of software testing / quality engineering experience.
- Strong experience with test planning, test design, and test execution for enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Functional Testing

- Regression Testing
- End-to-End Testing
- System Testing
- Strong experience in defect management, defect triage, and root cause analysis.
- Strong requirements analysis and risk-based testing experience.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
Test Automation- Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites.
- Experience with one or more of the following automation frameworks:
- Robot Framework
- Playwright
- Selenium
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to develop reusable automation components and improve overall test coverage through automation.
API & Technical Skills- Hands-on experience with API testing using one or more of:
- Postman
- REST Assured
- SOAPUI
- Programming/scripting experience in one or more of:
- Java
- Python
- JavaScript
- SQL
- Experience with version control systems such as:
