SummaryThe Sr Project Manager, Information Technology, leads large-scale, complex, and cross-functional technology initiatives supporting Venture Global LNG operations and EPC project execution. This role is responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, including strategic planning, budgeting, resource management, vendor governance, risk management, and delivery execution across multiple concurrent initiatives. The Sr PM serves as a key liaison between business leadership, engineering, operations, vendors, and IT teams to ensure technology solutions align with organizational objectives, operational readiness, and EPC project timelines.
This role provides leadership in establishing project governance, driving process improvements, managing enterprise-level risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of business-critical systems and applications.
General Description Duties & Responsibilities- Leads complex enterprise and EPC-related technology projects from initiation through deployment and operational transition
- Manages multiple concurrent projects, programs, and cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact
- Develops and maintains project governance structures, execution plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and risk mitigation strategies
- Provides leadership and direction to project teams, technical resources, vendors, contractors, and business stakeholders
- Manages vendor and contractor relationships to ensure contractual obligations, deliverables, timelines, and service expectations are achieved
- Ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, within scope, and in accordance with quality and operational standards
- Leads project financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance reporting
- Identifies and proactively manages project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests across multiple workstreams
- Partners with business and operational leaders to evaluate technology needs and develop scalable, cost-effective solutions
- Drives process improvement, technology modernization, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Develops executive-level presentations, dashboards, status reports, and project communications for leadership and steering committees
- Mentors and provides guidance to project managers and junior team members on project management standards, methodologies, and best practices
- Supports PMO governance processes, portfolio reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensures compliance with company standards, cybersecurity requirements, safety expectations, and regulatory obligations
QualificationsRequired experience- 7 or more years of professional experience solving business problems with technology solutions at an energy facility or related industry
- 5 or more years managing large-scale, cross-functional, or enterprise technology initiatives with responsibility for budget, schedule, scope, and delivery accountability
- PMP certification preferred
- EPC (engineering, procurement & construction) experience required- the Sr PM understands design, plan, and executing a project from start to finish, and assumes responsibility managing and tracking progress on the delivery of turnkey system or facility in line with agreed-upon quality standards, timeline, and budget
- Experience in application development encompassing the following:
- Successful development and implementation of new technology
- Demonstrated competency in project management and execution of multiple or larger projects
- Demonstrated successful development and implementation of new work processes or process improvements.
- Experience working with stakeholders to develop solutions to complex business problems.
- Ability to recommend, design and implement technology solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Strong technical skills directing technical professionals
- Demonstrated skills in conceptualizing solutions, documenting them, and "selling" them to senior management
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and system design skills
- Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Required EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, computer science, or management information systems. MBA preferred.
Salary Range$175,000 - $210,000
