Senior Project Engineer - Supplier Quality you will proactively plan, coordinate, and support engineering projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet performance and quality expectations. This role bridges technical execution with project coordination, requiring both engineering expertise and strong organizational skills.
This is a hybrid role based in Kohler, Wisconsin, requiring on-site work 3 days per week.Specific Responsibilities:- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure alignment across all phases of the project.
- Interface with vendors to ensure technical and delivery expectations are met.
- Perform assignments of a complicated nature.
- Participate in project reviews and continuous improvement efforts
- Operate independently with limited guidance from managers and/or senior engineers.
- Support or leads multiple projects concurrently.
- Leads the technical work of projects and other supplier quality initiatives.
- Manages all assigned New Product Development (NPD) supplier quality duties.
- Track project progress and prepare status reports, risk assessments, and change management documentation.
- Independently prioritizes and executes tasks with the customer in mind.
- Demonstrates and acts on quality traits: analytical, hands-on, high standards, facilitating and systematic.
- Proficient in Supplier Quality Engineering and problem-solving tools
- Able to identify systemic root causes of quality issues.
- Able to perform independent management system/quality audits
- Advanced level of technical proficiency related to applicable. processes.
- Leverages Process Lessons learned across multiple processes.
- Leads supplier quality engineering best practices.
- Applies Advanced Quality Planning concepts, as applicable.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology Program (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, or related field).
- 4 or more years of relevant work experience in quality / manufacturing engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, project life cycles, and documentation practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel up to 50%.

The Salary range for this position is $89,800.00-$114,100.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
