OverviewThe Senior Project and Planning Advisor serves as a high-impact strategic partner within the CEO Office, working directly with the Chief of Staff to drive CEO priorities, executive alignment, and organizational performance. This role operates at the center of strategy and execution1 driving critical initiatives that span the CEO Office, Board of Managers, Executive Team project portfolio, and system-wide strategic planning. Acting as an extension of the Chief of Staff, this individual leads the development of executive-level deliverables and shapes recommendations that inform high-stakes decisions, including board presentations, strategic narratives, and decision-support analyses for audiences such as the CEO, the executive leadership team, and the Board of Managers.
This position drives enterprise initiatives forward by leading project execution, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring accountability across leadership teams. The role requires a candidate who will leverage Lean management principles and disciplined project management practices to identify opportunities to improve organizational performance, streamline operations, and accelerate strategic outcomes. Responsibilities
JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions:
- Partner with the Chief of Staff to drive CEO priorities, ensuring alignment, execution, and follow-through across enterprise initiatives.
- Serve as a strategic operator within the CEO Office, managing high-priority workstreams and advancing initiatives from concept through execution.
- Act as a key liaison across executive leadership, ensuring alignment and accountability across critical organizational priorities.
- Manage sensitive executive communications and information flow with a high degree of discretion and judgment.
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives using lean methodologies to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
- Lead the development of Board of Managers materials on behalf of the CEO, including agenda packets, strategic planning presentations, briefing documents, and meeting outputs that support CEO-led discussions.
- Shape executive-level narratives and recommendations to inform Board dialogue, promote decision-making, and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- Lead cross-functional, enterprise-level initiatives on behalf of the CEO Office, ensuring execution, alignment, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive accountability across stakeholders, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and escalating when needed.
- Oversee project plans, timelines, and resource alignment to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively and on schedule.
- Define initiative scope, success metrics, and execution approach in alignment with CEO Office priorities.
- Coordinate with the Communications Specialist to align messaging, narrative development, and presentation materials for high-stakes executive communications and events, including Board and external engagements.
- Collaborate with the Chief Transformation Officer to identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean management principles to enhance efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
- Conduct analysis of workflows, systems, and performance data to inform recommendations with measurable impact.
- Facilitate cross-functional improvement efforts, ensuring adoption, accountability, and sustained results.
- Lead the maintenance and ongoing operation of the CEO Office HUB space, ensuring executive dashboards, planning tools, and performance tracking mechanisms provide the CEO and Executive Leadership Team with realtime visibility into priorities, progress, and decision needs.Drive the coordination and execution of enterprise strategic planning processes, ensuring executive leadership is prepared, aligned, and positioned to make timely, high-quality decisions.
- Structure and facilitate executive-level planning discussions by organizing priorities, sequencing key decisions, and ensuring materials are developed in advance of leadership and Board engagement.
- Synthesize complex inputs into clear strategic recommendations, decision frameworks, and actionable plans for senior leadership.
- Ensure continuity from strategy development through Board presentation by aligning executive outputs, materials, and messaging with governance timelines and expectations.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (higher degree accepted) Business, Management, or related discipline. -Required
Master's Degree (higher degree accepted) Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health or in Health Informatics -Preferred
Work Experience:
5 years Progressive experience in executive operations, strategy, project management, healthcare, or a related field -Required
3 years Experience supporting senior executives and preparing materials for boards, executive leadership, or governance bodies -Preferred3 years Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage competing priorities, and translate -Preferred
3 years Experience with strategic planning and process improvement -Preferred
