S3, Inc. has an immediate need for a Sr. Program Manager to support our on-going programs at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
There is a $10,000.00 hire-in bonus.
Description:
The Sr. Program Manager is responsible for managing government/military task orders / program(s) either directly or through subordinate task leads. Ensures that all required resources such as manpower, logistics (CONUS/OCONUS Travel), facilities and the other support requirements are available for the programs supervised.
Manages and oversees 60+ full-time employees including subordinate supervisors / Task Leads, and, manages cost, schedule, staffing, quality control, CDRL preparation and submission, subcontractor performance, and customer engagement with the COR and KO.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the execution of programs under an ISO 9001 or AS9100D certified quality management system
• Responsible for program profit and loss
• Plan, direct and monitor budget, and serve as primary source for program information
• Business development within current customer base and/or for new customers including conducting progressive engagement and capture management for similar tasks
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in business or technical discipline; Master's Degree preferred.
• 10 years direct management experience of organizations with 60+ geographically dispersed employees.
• At least 5 years of prior Program Management experience, with P&L responsibility in a defense contracting company directly related to DoW programs.
• At least 5 years of working experience executing programs under an ISO 9001 or AS9100D certified quality management system.
• Must have working proficiency in Microsoft Project for schedule management and Microsoft Excel for budget tracking, cost analysis, and resource allocation.
• Direct experience managing DoW contracts either as military, USG, or as a defense contractor.
• Active secret or higher DoD security clearance.
• Service as an Acquisition Professional as a Project/Product Manager or Deputy PM is preferred.
• Military Aviation, Offensive / Defensive Fires, or Space Force experience at the Lieutenant Colonel or higher level is also preferred.
