Full Job Description
V2X Modernization & Sustainment seeks an experienced Sr Program Manager (PM) to support the V2X Advanced Line for Operational Response (VALOR) program area team in Indianapolis. VALOR is a program area specializing in quick-reaction capability for our customers, providing bespoke solutions to meet specific customer needs and missions.

As a PM, you'll lead a multi-talented team across our Modernization and Sustainment business. Your mission: drive strategy and engage customers to win new, competitive contracts. You'll be the catalyst for shaping requirements and building the right teams to take new business from first contact to final award

As a strategic leader, you will define the vision and approach to expand our VALOR business. You'll lead capture teams to deliver high-impact solutions for the U.S. DoD and international allies, ensuring every project stays on schedule and within budget. Beyond execution, you will mentor other program managers to find and win their own opportunities, fostering strong, lasting relationships with our global partners.

As required, the PM will lead/perform the following tasks:

  • Drive business expansion by acting as a lead engagement point for senior customers, establishing the rapport needed to uncover and develop follow-on opportunities.
  • Accountable to the business to achieve financial business goals for growth, cost and schedule.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance program managers in executing capture activities.
  • Maintain relationship of trust and respect with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Work with all functions (contracts, finance, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, mission assurance, pricing) to successfully plan and execute opportunity capture.
  • Orchestrate technical collaboration across the business to translate customer challenges into executable growth opportunities and new program starts.
  • Manage Risks and Opportunities.


Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Ten (10) or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Seven (7) or more years successfully developing opportunities and leading capture of new business.
  • Five (5) or more years of successful leadership experience successfully leading a cross functional team of diverse individuals through development to transition to production.
  • Experience with DoD Rapid Acquisition offices and processes.
  • Experience leading development teams and system requirements management.
  • Expertly craft and deliver narratives that align stakeholders, using strong written, verbal, and digital presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurially minded individual with demonstrated experience growing and executing a successful business, program and/or leadership of teams.
  • Expertly apply program management fundamentals-including EVMS, scheduling, and R&O-to ensure financial integrity and operational excellence.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable solutions for high-stakes program challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with multiple levels of management and individual contributors on teams.
  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance.


Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Ten (10) or more years of successful Department of Defense (DoD) program management or Integrated Product Team (IPT) experience.
  • Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) degree and/or experience.
  • Master's Degree or other graduate degree.
  • Capture Management Certification
  • Experience with Counter-UAS, weapon systems, special mission military platforms, architectures, capabilities, customers, and/or missions.
  • Experience with domestic & international allied customers.
  • Extensive experience leading technical product development and managing critical interfaces across engineering, manufacturing, and external vendors.


Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Eight (8) years of additional work experience in lieu of degree.
