Full Job Description
About the Role:

As a CBRE Program Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating medium to large, complex, cross-functional projects and programs.

This job is part of the Program Management function. They are responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major company initiatives.

This role supports America's Workforce Academy, a client-sponsored workforce development program that hires and trains workers at scale with contractor partners across the Construction pathways. You will run the operating layer behind that work: cohort logistics, system administration, reporting, and ongoing trackers.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee large cross-functional projects or programs from end to end using a formal process.
  • Manage internal and external relationships in support of programs, including with contractor partners, and work with key stakeholders to develop solutions and guide project teams through delivery.
  • Keep all functions on schedule, escalating and resolving issues so programs complete on time.
  • Run day-to-day pathway operations end to end, including visibility to hiring event scheduling, contractor coordination, candidate flow, and cohort logistics such as facility readiness and capacity, rosters, schedules, and trainee travel and lodging.
  • Track enrollment against contractor demand, escalate shortfalls or overages early, and monitor attendance, completion, placement, and retention outcomes with contractor partners.
  • Administer program systems and own data integrity across them, including user access and permissions, field standards, deduplication, record linking, routine audits, and automations that reduce manual entry.
  • Maintain recurring reporting and dashboards covering hiring funnel performance, cohort status, placement and retention, and fulfillment against contractor job orders, and turn around ad hoc requests from program leadership and partners on short cycles.
  • Own the project trackers, including milestones, owners, due dates, decisions, risks, and open questions, and publish status on a set cadence.
  • Serve as an operational point of contact for hiring events, cohort launches, facility walkthroughs, and partner visits.
  • Define, develop, and maintain standard operating procedures and program documentation to ensure consistent delivery as processes change.
  • Showcase in-depth expertise across the function, coach others to build the same, and develop better methods for achieving individual and department objectives.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. PgMP or PMP certifications preferred.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, including occasional short-notice travel to hiring events, cohort launches, and training facilities.
  • Working proficiency with relational database or workflow platforms, including reporting views, automations, and user permissions.
  • Demonstrated ownership of program trackers, status reporting, and cross-functional follow-through.
  • Experience in workforce development, skilled trades hiring, staffing, or construction and telecom program delivery is preferred.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking and training credentialing systems is preferred.
  • Ability to solve unique problems with innovative solutions that have broad business impact.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, including comfort working with percentages, ratios, and other program and financial calculations.
