Job Duties:- Plan, direct, or coordinate marketing policies and programs, such as determining the demand for products and services offered by a firm and its competitors, and identify potential customers.
- Drive product success by driving customer success and delivering complete products (necessary collateral, software libraries, real time operating systems, demo platforms, competitive analysis, and product marketing activities including trade shows, blog, magazine articles, field training).
- Manage major and strategic customer programs within Cadence, generating competitive positioning and how-to-win strategy.
- Identify new opportunities and define future product requirements for Tensilica's extensible processor technology, with an emphasis in automotive, Internet of Things (IoT), and mobile devices.
- Coordinate and prioritize product enhancement requests by working directly with marketing, engineering, and sales teams.
- Champion, author, and coordinate regular communications to field applications engineering and sales teams on new technology and industry developments.
- Responsible for product management and marketing of Cadence's current and next generation of Tensilica extensible processor IP.
- Work with customers, sales, and engineering to drive product success in the marketplace.
- Gather market requirements, recognize market trends, analyze competition, and define future products.
- Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States and internationally.
Qualifications: - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
- Technical expertise in processor architecture to help translate complex engineering concepts into clear product messaging
- Orchestrate end-to-end product lifecycles by synchronizing engineering sprints with sales requirements and support feedback loops
- Utilize Tensilica Extension Language (TIE) compiler customize the Cadence Xtensa Processors
- Cadence Xtensa architecture, including its configurable processor design, multicore capabilities, coherent cache structures, pipeline organization, and processor interface mechanisms
- Functional safety concepts for supporting safety critical automotive customers
- Utilize analytical and problem solving for competitive analysis and market evaluation
- Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States and internationally.
The annual salary range for California is $221,821 to $286,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
