Full Job Description
As Product Manager Technical - External Services , you will to assume end-to-end product ownership over Amazon's Web Service offerings. You are expected to dive deep into the technology both from a product and customer perspective, working with software engineers and business partners to define, build, launch and grow new technology-driven products and services. These products are hardware offerings, software or technical services, and customers often include developers, IT departments or enterprise CIOs.

AWS Resilience is seeking a PMT-ES with experience building resilience systems in the cloud. We are looking for technical product leaders who will define, own and drive the delivery and adoption of new services, capabilities and user experiences for AWS Resilience Hub, which enable customers of all sizes to meet their resilience objectives in the cloud. Key job responsibilities
• Build services that technical end-customers can trust to run their workloads
• Engage with customers throughout the entire product lifecycle
• Ability to build strong technical product marketing and pricing strategies early on in the customer engagement cycle to drive product awareness
• Define and drive creative, detailed product definition of new capabilities
• Engage with customers through a variety of channels, to understand their needs and serve as their advocate
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational load
• Work closely with engineering teams and UX to deliver products to market

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience

- 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience

- 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience

- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market

- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations

- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
