About the Role:
CrowdStrike's Guardian product line is redefining how enterprises secure their adoption of AI. As organizations race to build and deploy AI applications, agents, and LLM-powered workflows, they have no reliable way to know whether those systems are safe-or whether the guardrails protecting them actually work. CrowdStrike's Red Teaming AI capabilities, combined with Falcon Guardian, closes both gaps: proactively finding AI vulnerabilities before adversaries do, and continuously improving the detection efficacy that stops AI attacks in real time.
We're seeking an exceptional Product Manager to own a strategic charter: our automated Red Teaming AI product that tightly integrates with Falcon Guardian. You'll define how customers test their AI workloads at scale, and you'll partner with Data Science and Engineering to ensure our detectors lead the market in recall, precision, and coverage against emerging AI threats.
This role sits at the intersection of offensive AI security research, applied machine learning, and enterprise product delivery. It's a high-autonomy, high-visibility opportunity to build a new product category while raising the bar on the detection quality our entire AI security portfolio depends on.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at one of the posted locations.What You'll Do:Red Teaming AI Product Strategy
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy CrowdStrike's automated Red Teaming AI capability
- Define the target coverage strategy across agents, HTTP APIs, browser extensions, headless browsers, authenticated application flows, VMs and containers, and CrowdStrike agentic platforms
- Own the dataset strategy including turnkey datasets for common harms, customer-defined datasets for business-specific risks, adaptive AI-driven datasets, and AI-assisted dataset generation
- Define the converter library that applies known jailbreaking techniques, translation, tone variation, and multi-modal and file-based attack generation
- Own scoring capabilities including LLM-as-judge, deterministic checks, value transformation, and multi-scorer evaluation
- Define the findings model that turns test failures into trackable, prioritized risks with harm category, technique, severity, and full input/output evidence
- Drive automation capabilities including CI/CD-triggered evaluations, scheduled runs, Fusion triggers, MCP access, and public APIs
- Own reporting and evidence-sharing workflows, including secure sharing with application developers and third-party vendors outside the Falcon console
- Define responsible red teaming requirements including egress IP management, request identification, and per-target resource limits
Closing the Loop Across the Portfolio
- Define how Red Teaming AI and Falcon Guardian prompt detectors work together, including out-of-band guardrail testing, guardrail replay against past evaluations, and guardrails used as converters
- Partner with adjacent product lines on integration with AgentWorks evaluations, Falcon Exposure Management, and Charlotte AI
- Own the pricing and packaging model for Red Teaming AI, including consumption alignment with Falcon Guardian tokens
- Position Red Teaming AI as a low-friction entry point that accelerates customer adoption of Guardian and AIDR
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
- Translate offensive research and threat intelligence into actionable engineering requirements and prioritized backlogs
- Lead technical AI security discussions with customers, prospects, and executive audiences
- Support Sales and Sales Engineering with field enablement, technical validation, and competitive positioning
- Partner with Marketing and analyst relations on category definition and thought leadership
- Engage Engineering and Data Science leadership on resource allocation, model investment, and technical trade-offs
- Maintain roadmap responsiveness to a rapidly shifting AI threat and technology landscape
What You'll Need:- 5+ years of product management experience in cybersecurity, AI/ML, or emerging technology domains
- Understanding of offensive security concepts such as penetration testing, red teaming, vulnerability management, or security testing automation
- Strong understanding of LLM architectures, AI agents, and AI-specific attack vectors including prompt injection and jailbreaking
- Technical background sufficient to reason about model evaluation metrics, classifier performance, and detection quality trade-offs
- Experience building products in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the category is still being defined
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate security team workflows into product requirements
- Proven ability to work effectively with engineering and data science teams on novel technical challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
Bonus Points:- Hands-on experience with Red Teaming AI frameworks such as PyRIT, Garak, or Promptfoo, or with commercial Red Teaming AI tooling
- Experience with ML model evaluation, benchmark design, dataset curation, or labeling operations
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, API design, and MCP
- Experience with AI governance frameworks, responsible AI, or model risk management
- Background in application security testing, DAST, or continuous security validation products
- Understanding of AI agents, agentic platforms, A2A, MCP, and AI gateways
- Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements for AI systems

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
