PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr Product Manager in San Jose, CA
Job Duties: Collect, organize, and distill customer experience data, market data, and usability studies to inform product requirements that are aligned with PayPal's strategic and competitive position in the market to develop a global product strategy and roadmap. Lead cross-functional collaboration with developers and designers to build PayPal's Rewards program, shape the customer experience, and create the future of commerce. Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision-making and identify potential risks that may impact product quality and/or timeline of deliverables. Monitor product profitability and budget throughout project executions. Lead sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to ensure effective execution, and collaborate with content developers, data scientists, product designers, and user experience researchers to uncover new opportunities. Utilize Key Performance Indicators to periodically evaluate project performance at each project checkpoint. Meet with business and team leads to update on the project status and disclose any potential risks with proposed mitigation plans. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Management Technology, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Special Skill Requirements:
1. Experience defining product requirements and roadmaps for consumer-facing digital products across web and mobile platforms, including prioritizing features for front-end and back-end systems based on customer needs, competitive positioning, and business objectives (2 years)
2. Experience using data analysis and experimentation methodologies to inform product decisions, including defining KPIs, analyzing performance metrics, designing A/B tests, and applying test results to drive iterative improvements (2 years)
3. Experience conducting customer research, usability testing, and market analysis, including synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights to identify user needs, validate product hypotheses, and inform product strategy (2 years)
4. Experience collaborating with engineering, design, data science, and analytics teams to deliver scalable digital product features, including translating business requirements into technical specifications and managing cross-functional dependencies (2 years)
5. Experience leading Agile/Scrum product execution, including sprint planning, backlog management, daily standups, and retrospectives using Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar) (2 years)
6. Experience designing and evaluating customer-facing user experiences, including creating or reviewing wireframes and prototypes and validating end-to-end user journeys across mobile and web platforms (2 years)
7. Experience performing data analysis using SQL and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar) to monitor product performance, customer engagement, and feature adoption (2 years)
8. Experience coordinating cross-functional product launches, including dependency mapping, risk identification and mitigation, and stakeholder communication across multiple teams (2 years)
9. Experience assessing product profitability and business impact, including budget monitoring, evaluating investment trade-offs, and aligning product decisions with strategic objectives (2 years)

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:
Primary Location | Pay Range:
San Jose, California | Salary: $181,293.00-270,500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
