Full Job Description
The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for how third-party systems connect to DAT's ecosystem in our Seattle Office. You'll set the direction for TMS partner integrations (postings, rates, tracking, carrier onboarding/monitoring), shape DAT's public and partner-facing API strategy, and be the product owner accountable for turning "integrate once, use all of DAT" from a stated vision into a working reality.

This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role. You'll work closely with engineering leads on integration architecture, with TMS partners, and with product teams whose roadmaps depend on integration reliability, and with sales/partnership success on what brokers are actually asking for.

What You'll Do
  • TMS Integration Roadmap - Define and prioritize the roadmap for broker-side TMS connectivity. Drive migration off legacy SOAP/FTP protocols and manage the tradeoffs and unique requirements for major TMS partner integrations.
  • API Strategy & Governance - Own the roadmap for DAT's public and partner APIs, including usage governance, tiering, and monitoring. Establish the metering, attribution, and access-control mechanisms on DAT's API surface, and make deliberate calls on what's open, what's gated, and what's monetized.
  • Partner & Vendor Relationships - Serve as DAT's product-side counterpart to TMS vendors and integration partners. Run partner conversations on integration requirements, and manage the realities of a fragmented, unevenly-modernized partner landscape.
  • Cross-Team Dependency Management - Act as the connective layer between domain product teams whose features depend on integration infrastructure, and the platform/integrations engineering org building it. Resolve prioritization conflicts and keep dependent roadmaps synchronized.
  • Business Case & Strategy - Build the business case for integration investment: define what "done" looks like for reliability and time-to-integrate, help settle DAT's revenue/value model for integrations.

The Skills and Experience You'll Bring
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including demonstrated ownership of integration, platform, or API products - ideally in freight, logistics, or another data/transaction-heavy B2B domain.
  • Technical fluency with integration patterns: REST APIs, webhooks, and the practical tradeoffs between polling and event-driven architectures. You need to credibly review a design doc and ask the right questions.
  • Partner-facing experience - comfort running roadmap and requirements conversations directly with external vendors/partners.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and legacy complexity - this space has technical debt and you will be building the plan to modernize it.
  • Strong cross-functional communication - you'll need to translate between engineering, partner/BD conversations, and executive strategy conversations on integration needs.

*This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship**

For Washington-based candidates, in compliance with the Washington State Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this role is $137,492 - $184,680 + target bonus. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and AD&D insurance
  • Parental Leave
  • Up to 20 days of paid time off starting in year one
  • An additional 10 holidays of paid time off per calendar year
  • 401k matching (immediately vested)
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan
  • Short- and Long-term disability sick leave
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Health Savings Accounts
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Additional programs - Employee Referral, Internal Recognition, and Wellness
  • Free TriMet transit pass (Beaverton Office)
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Work on impactful projects in a cutting-edge environment
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture
  • Opportunity to make a real difference in the trucking industry
  • Employee Resource Groups
