What you'll do

As the Sr Product Manager for Product-Led Growth (PLG), you will spearhead the end-to-end vision, global strategy, and roadmap for Docusign's Product-Led Growth conversational AI and agentic experiences; specifically focused on customer acquisition and top-of-funnel experiences across docusign.com. This high-impact, senior leadership role is responsible for orchestrating cross-functional excellence between Regional Growth Marketing, Digital Business, Sales, and Product Engineering teams to achieve Docusign's global strategic objectives. You are a seasoned product leader capable of developing a 12 month strategy that redefines how customers engage with Docusign. This role combines a deep understanding of conversational AI best practices, agentic experiences, AEO and LLM lead generation capabilities, prompt engineering, and business partnership to deliver measurable business value and world-class customer experiences. The Sr Product Manager, Conversational AI and Agentic Experiences is responsible for owning the vision and strategy for prioritizing, building, evolving, and implementing lead generation flows and AI-powered solutions across docusign.com that support PLG OKRs, customer experiences, growth marketing effectiveness, ecommerce growth, and operational efficiency. This role serves as the AI and agentic leader within PLG, partnering with Customer Support Teams, Revenue Teams, AEO Teams, Analytics Teams, Engineers, Sales Development Teams, Lifecycle Marketers, and Regional Growth Marketing stakeholders to transform AI opportunities into scalable solutions across docusign.com experiences and within external LLMs.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr Director, Product Management.

Responsibility
  • Own the roadmap for the customer-facing conversational agent across, chat and voice, from intent coverage and conversation design to the interfaces partners embed in their apps and websites including LLM agentic experiences, as well as the roadmap and prioritization for lead generation forms and experiences across the docusign.com global domain
  • Focus your prioritization and experiences on driving qualified lead generation and digital conversion metrics
  • Engage enterprise partners through discovery, requirement shaping, and launch decisions, translating partner asks into product choices that keep one product serving many partners
  • Build working prototypes using AI coding tools where they beat a written spec, to test conversation flows and interface ideas
  • Define and defend quality bars with the evaluation team, covering resolution rate, containment, escalation correctness, and conversation quality
  • Specify agent behavior in detail, including resolution, tone, escalation policy, guardrails, and edge cases, and iterate from production conversation data
  • Establish testing, evaluation, and validation frameworks for AI solutions
  • Continuously optimize prompts, workflows, and user experiences
  • Support responsible AI practices, governance standards, privacy requirements, and security controls
  • Document technical solutions and operational procedures
  • Stay close to GTM, Partner Solutions, Support and Success teams, feeding what the field learns back into the roadmap
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on AI development practices and emerging technologies while fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and accountability
  • Present key outcomes to VP-level executives and above on a recurring basis


Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including principal or lead-level ownership of a customer-facing product, with conversational AI, customer experience automation, or an adjacent space
  • Experience manipulating design files and producing flows and basic mocks solo in Figma
  • Experience writing enough code to get a prototype working without waiting on an engineer, treating AI tools as a normal part of how they build
  • Experience applying a data-driven approach grounded in growth and customer service and automation metrics, including resolution, containment, CSAT, and escalation quality
  • Experience with LLM-based products, including prompt and behavior design, AI quality practices, and their failure modes
  • Experience self-serving, identifying large business and revenue opportunities, and demonstrating a deep understanding of full-funnel analytics
  • Experience influencing executive stakeholders and mentoring junior product talent

Preferred
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Marketing, or a related technical field
  • Direct experience with international market expansion and localized digital customer journeys
  • Previous experience integrating WhatsApp for business across web-based experiences
  • Advanced knowledge of emerging AI/ML applications in personalization and marketing automation across web-based applications
  • Experience running your own business and having an entrepreneurial mindset


Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $146,400.00 - $235,375.00 base salary

Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $140,100.00 - $206,775.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:
  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
