Job OverviewThe Senior Product Manager (SPM), Cardiovascular is responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle ownership for a cardiovascular product portfolio, from ideation through development, launch, commercialization, and lifecycle management. The role drives portfolio strategy, profitability, and cross-functional execution in a highly regulated medical device environment.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties- Define and execute product and portfolio strategy, including multi-generational roadmaps and lifecycle plans.
- Own end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation through post-launch optimization and profitability.
- Integrate Voice of Customer insights, clinical workflows, and competitive intelligence into product requirements.
- Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Clinical, Sales, Marketing, Quality, and Operations.
- Lead global product launches and ensure commercial readiness.
- Develop business cases and financial justifications; track post-launch performance.
- Support long-term Cardiovascular division strategy and growth initiatives.
- Mentor and coach Product Managers and Associate Product Managers.
- Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations. Adopt the Beyond Compliance Quality Culture and attend all required Quality & Compliance training.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree required.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences product management.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Extensive experience in product management within a regulated medical device environment.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and financial acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without authority.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Targeted salary range: $170,000- $190,000, depending upon experience and location + 25% bonus target
