Full Job Description
The Senior Manager, Sustainability & Climate Change is a key leader in advancing Rogers environmental strategy, climate commitments, and corporate reporting. Working across business units and with external partners, this role strengthens Rogers' environmental performance, accelerates our climate strategy, and ensures we meet the expectations of customers, investors, regulators, and communities.
You will lead core elements of Rogers' sustainability program, including GHG inventory management, climate reporting, and renewable energy strategy, while embedding sustainability and climate action into day-to-day decision-making across the organization.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead the collection and quality control of environmental data and support the annual GHG inventory.
- Oversees third-party assurance of environmental metrics with teams across the business.
- Contribute to Rogers' sustainability reporting suite, and lead updates to key stakeholders including investors, suppliers, ESG rating agencies.
- Manage sustainability content for the website and internal communications.
- Manage targeted sustainability awards and recognition opportunities.
- Lead engagement with employees and internal teams on Rogers environmental priorities.
- Oversee compiling of company decarbonization efforts and assist in calculating emission reductions.
- Support Rogers' renewable energy strategy (e.g. VPPA, REC, and on-site project development).
- Support supplier climate engagement and Scope 3 emissions data collection.
- Prepare environmental performance updates and materials for governance and leadership reviews.
- Provide oversight and guidance to service providers delivering environmental programs (e.g. energy efficiency, waste and recycling, water conservation and biodiversity).
What you will bring:
- 7-10+ years of experience in sustainability, climate change, ESG reporting, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of GHG accounting (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), climate disclosure frameworks, and assurance processes.
- Experience with ESG ratings, CDP, SBTi, and corporate sustainability reporting.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills.
- Experience with renewable energy strategy, supplier engagement, or climate-risk analysis is an asset.
- Familiarity with emerging sustainability regulations, investor ESG expectations, disclosure standards and assurance trends is an asset.
