Role Description:
At Enterprise Data Products (EDP), we aim to deliver exceptional customer experience every day, empowering the enterprise to use trusted data and insights enabled through a best-in-class suite of products. As Senior Manager, you will support the Platform Governance function for Lumi, our next generation Big Data platform. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of data, technology, risk, and regulatory compliance, helping to scale governance frameworks that enable innovation while maintaining enterprise-grade controls. You will partner with engineering, product, risk, audit, and policy teams to help ensure Lumi remains secure, compliant, and built for scale.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution and evolution of governance frameworks for Lumi, embedding regulatory, policy, and technology standards into platform processes and operations
  • Partner across multiple lines of defense (risk, compliance, audit, and legal) to support governance practices for data and AI use cases
  • Coordinate and support platform risk assessments, audits, and control evaluations, ensuring transparency, consistency, and audit readiness across platform capabilities
  • Help operationalize scalable governance models that balance innovation and control while supporting platform adoption and regulatory alignment
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate governance, data controls, and compliance requirements into platform workflows and tooling
  • Support initiatives focused on governance automation and modernization, including GenAI-enabled knowledge management and audit acceleration capabilities
  • Contribute to enterprise data governance initiatives by helping establish scalable governance patterns across critical data domains and production use cases
  • Become a part of a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, critical thinking, and continuous learning


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in data platform governance, risk management, and technology controls within a complex, regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics, and emerging AI/ML use cases, with the ability to translate governance requirements into scalable solutions
  • Proven ability to operate across senior stakeholders and multiple lines of defense, driving alignment in ambiguous and high-stakes environments
  • Experience managing or supporting cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to balance innovation and governance requirements within fast-moving technology environments


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with enterprise data platforms or cloud-based data ecosystems
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, audit processes, and financial services compliance requirements
  • Experience driving automation or modernization of governance practices
