Full Job Description
As a Sr. Process Engineer at Anthro Energy, you will play a pivotal role in developing and scaling manufacturing processes for electrolyte mixing and production. You will be responsible for the successful bring-up, on-ramp, and ongoing operations of a pilot-scale manufacturing facility. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy solutions in a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the scale-up and optimization of battery electrolyte manufacturing from lab to pilot scale, ensuring rigorous quality and safety standards are met.
  • Develop and refine Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for new and existing electrolyte processes.
  • Define and document process specifications, constraints, and critical control points; engage with equipment and raw material vendors to source and commission manufacturing equipment and supplies
  • Manage and continuously improve process operations, including workflow development, troubleshooting, controls systems modifications, and integration with MES/ERP systems.
  • Prepare and present technical documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in manufacturing process engineering, with a focus on battery electrolytes, chemicals, or related advanced materials.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling chemical processes from lab to pilot scale
  • Proficient in developing PFDs, P&IDs, and process documentation
  • Skilled in process automation and control systems.
  • Proven project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with data management systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements for chemical manufacturing environments.
