Full Job Description
Siemens is looking for Manufacturing Engineer for a new plant in Pendergrass, Georgia. If not local, we will consider relocation for the right candidate.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, ensuring process adherence, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, capability to influence others, and a passion for innovation in manufacturing processes.

You will make an impact by:
  • Ensure strict adherence to established guidelines, processes, and procedures.
  • Drive the achievement of performance standards within the Manufacturing Engineering function.
  • Contribute to annual budget planning and monitor ongoing budget adherence.
  • Propose and implement improvements to technical infrastructure and manufacturing procedures.
  • Plan, develop, and execute performance measurements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and manage improvement projects at the site or unit level.
  • Conduct inspections, investigations, and in-depth analysis of manufacturing and logistics processes.
  • Lead all aspects of the ramp-up phase for new equipment, machines, and processes related to new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, external vendors, and service providers.
  • Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date process documentation.
  • Coordinate with technicians and engineers to ensure proper training and qualifications.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field), or proven track record of hands-on experience and achievements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
  • Proven experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and project management.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software and lean tools (e.g., CAD, ERP systems, Six Sigma, lean certifications)
