Position Summary
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Sr. Manager, Sales & Deal Enablement to lead product strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, and value realization for priority Sales capabilities within the global Customer Experience Management (CxM) ecosystem.
The role will initially place strong emphasis on pricing and deal-support capabilities, while maintaining the flexibility to lead other Sales priorities as business needs and portfolio investments evolve. Areas of responsibility may include pricing guidance, deal preparation, commercial approvals, product and customer information, document generation, workflow simplification, sales productivity, and connected experiences across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and enterprise platforms.
This leader will operate as a flexible product and platform leader across the Sales portfolio, taking accountability for high-priority opportunities or capability gaps that require focused leadership. The role is expected to move effectively between strategy, delivery, adoption, operations, and cross-functional problem solving rather than being limited to a single application or narrowly defined process.
Key Accountabilities
1. Sales and deal-enablement strategy
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes for assigned Sales and deal-enablement capabilities in alignment with the broader MedTech CxM strategy.
- Lead cross-functional teams to simplify and scale Sales workflows that improve seller productivity, accelerate deal progression, and strengthen execution quality.
- Identify high-value capability gaps across the Sales portfolio and take focused accountability for shaping the response, securing alignment, and driving delivery.
- Convert business strategy, seller needs, and operational pain points into clear product capabilities, release objectives, and actionable backlogs.
- Maintain a pragmatic roadmap that balances immediate business priorities, platform reuse, operational stability, technical health, and longer-term capability development.
2. Pricing and connected deal capabilities
- Own or support the roadmap for pricing and connected deal capabilities, including pricing guidance, commercial rules, approvals, deal preparation, document generation, and workflow orchestration.
- Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, contracting teams, and regional and global business stakeholders to simplify processes and clarify decision rights.
- Ensure pricing and deal capabilities connect effectively with Microsoft Dynamics 365, customer and product data, contracting, ERP, analytics, and other enterprise services.
- Favor common capabilities, configuration, and reusable integrations over unnecessary customization or isolated regional solutions.
- Provide flexibility to expand into quoting, product configuration, contracting, or other adjacent deal capabilities when business priorities and funding support the need.
3. Flexible Sales portfolio leadership
- Provide product leadership across other priority Sales capabilities when gaps, delivery risks, or emerging business needs require additional ownership.
- Rapidly assess ambiguous problems, establish a clear product approach, align stakeholders, and create an executable path forward.
- Step into initiatives at different stages of maturity, from early discovery and business-case development through delivery, stabilization, adoption, and lifecycle management.
- Connect work across Sales products and platforms to reduce fragmentation and create a more coherent seller experience.
- Transition capabilities into sustainable ownership and operating models when longer-term accountability is established elsewhere in the organization.
4. Adoption and value realization
- Drive adoption through user-centered design, playbooks, training, communications, change management, product analytics, and performance dashboards.
- Define and track outcomes such as adoption, seller productivity, pricing accuracy, approval cycle time, deal velocity, workflow completion, reliability, reuse, and reduction of manual work.
- Establish feedback mechanisms with sellers, sales leaders, commercial teams, and regional stakeholders, and use insights to improve priorities and experiences.
- Create transparent value cases for major investments and track whether delivered capabilities produce expected user, operational, and commercial outcomes.
- Avoid deploying features or tools that add disconnected experiences or complexity without measurable value.
5. Product delivery, governance and operations
- Lead end-to-end product delivery across discovery, planning, backlog management, release readiness, adoption, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with engineering and architecture to translate product priorities into executable plans while balancing value, feasibility, risk, cost, quality, timing, and platform integrity.
- Manage dependencies spanning Sales, pricing, contracting, data, integrations, security, privacy, infrastructure, and adjacent CxM capabilities.
- Establish clear decision rights, governance, cadences, escalation paths, acceptance criteria, service expectations, and operational responsibilities.
- Provide leadership during material delivery or production issues and ensure corrective actions address root causes rather than symptoms.
6. Financial, supplier and people leadership
- Own the budget, resource plan, forecasts, investment proposals, and financial trade-offs for assigned capabilities.
- Lead and develop employees, contractors, and delivery partners through clear objectives, coaching, feedback, performance management, and career development.
- Manage strategic vendors and systems integrators against defined outcomes, quality expectations, technical standards, delivery commitments, and commercial terms.
- Build strong product-management, Sales-domain, adoption, change, delivery, and business-partnership capabilities within the team.
- Create an inclusive, accountable culture focused on outcomes, transparency, constructive challenge, learning, and shared ownership.
Measures of Success
- Pricing and deal-support capabilities become simpler, more consistent, measurable, and easier for sellers and supporting teams to use.
- Assigned Sales priorities move from ambiguity to clear ownership, roadmaps, decisions, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Sellers complete priority workflows with less avoidable administrative effort and fewer disconnected handoffs.
- Common capabilities and reusable integrations replace duplicated solutions and unnecessary customization.
- Releases meet defined business outcomes, quality standards, operational-readiness criteria, adoption targets, and applicable security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Budget, supplier performance, delivery risk, platform health, and value realization are transparent and actively managed.
- The role can shift across Sales priorities without creating confusion about accountability or leaving capabilities without sustainable ownership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, business, engineering, or a related field.
- 10 or more years of progressively responsible experience in product management, platform management, commercial technology, enterprise applications, sales enablement, or technology delivery.
- Demonstrated product leadership for enterprise Sales, CRM,
