Full Job Description
MiniGlam Cosmetics is redefining beauty for Gen Alpha by creating fun, expressive, and age-appropriate products that inspire creativity and confidence. With strong momentum and national distribution in Target, we're entering an exciting phase of rapid growth and innovation. We're looking for a Director / Senior Manager of Product Development to help scale our product pipeline and bring new ideas to life quickly and thoughtfully. The role: This is a hands-on, end-to-end product development role focused on execution, speed, and creativity. You'll manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver products that are safe, innovative, and exciting for our audience. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of MiniGlam by developing products that balance fun, collectability, and compliance for a younger consumer. Day to Day: • Track trends relevant to Gen Alpha and emerging beauty behaviors • Translate insights into product ideas that are age-appropriate and differentiated • Contribute to product concepts, formats, and shade ranges • Lead day-to-day product development across multiple launches • Partner with labs and manufacturers on formula and shade development • Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables from concept to shelf • Support vendor selection and maintain strong external partnerships • Partner with Marketing, Creative, and Sales to align product with brand and retail needs • Work with Operations to ensure feasibility, timelines, and cost targets • Support packaging development alongside design and external partners • Manage COGs, margin targets, and development budgets • Ensure all products meet safety, testing, and regulatory standards (with focus on younger consumers) Your profile: • 5-8+ years in beauty product development • Strong vendor and lab relationships • Experience working with mass retail (Target, Walmart, etc.) • Detail-oriented and highly organized • Creative thinker with strong execution skills • Excited by Gen Alpha trends and building for a new generation What Success Looks Like: • Products consistently launch on time and meet retailer expectations and internal metrics • Product pipeline moves quickly while maintaining safety and quality • MiniGlam continues to stand out as a leader in Gen Alpha beauty Salary: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00
