COMPENSATION:$133,600.00 - $208,750.00
This role requires associates to work out of the Santa Monica, CA MVH North America hub location. Why This Role Matters:We are seeking a Sr. Manager, North America Strategy to support the development and execution of strategic priorities across Mars Veterinary Health. This role partners closely with the VP, North America Strategy and cross-functional leaders to evaluate growth opportunities, conduct strategic analyses, and develop insights and recommendations that inform decision making. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and effective communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

- Strategy Development & Planning
- Support development of North America strategic priorities, long-range planning, and key growth initiatives
- Translate strategic objectives into analytical workplans, recommendations, and actionable outputs
- Develop executive-ready materials to support strategic discussions and decision making
- Strategic Analysis & Decision Support
- Structure complex business questions and conduct analyses to inform strategic decisions
- Support evaluation of growth opportunities, partnerships, investments, and emerging business models
- Develop data-driven insights and recommendations for senior leadership
- Market, Competitive & Business Insights
- Conduct market, competitive, customer, and industry analyses to identify opportunities and risks
- Synthesize internal and external data into clear business insights
- Monitor trends across veterinary healthcare, petcare, and adjacent industries
- Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner with Operations, Medical, Finance, Technology, and Commercial teams on strategic initiatives
- Build relationships across a highly matrixed organization to drive alignment and execution
- Support strategic problem solving across key business priorities
- Strategic Execution & Governance
- Help drive rigor and consistency in planning processes and strategic reviews
- Support tracking of key strategic initiatives and enterprise priorities
- Identify risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs to inform decision making
- Other job duties as necessary
Your Experience Should Include: - Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business analytics, or a related field
- Required Experience
- Experience supporting strategic projects and business initiatives in a complex organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience structuring ambiguous business questions
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into actionable insights and recommendations
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including development of executive-level materials
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
- Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred Experience
- Experience in healthcare services, multi-unit services, consumer healthcare, veterinary healthcare or adjacent industries
- Experience supporting strategic planning, growth strategy initiatives
- Familiarity with matrixed, multi-brand or distributed operating environments
Salary Range: $133,600 - $224,406.25
Compensation is determined based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and market competitiveness.
