Lead the charge in molding excellence by driving strategic maintenance and innovation for cutting-edge injection molding systems, ensuring peak performance and safety in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop maintenance teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Define and execute maintenance strategies aligned with production goals and asset reliability.
  • Oversee maintenance and optimization of injection molding machines to maximize uptime and performance.
  • Direct maintenance and troubleshooting for PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation equipment.
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics such as OEE, uptime, and maintenance costs.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a safe work environment.
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets and capital investment plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and improve operational effectiveness.

The Senior Manager, Molding Equipment & Maintenance provides strategic and operational leadership for all maintenance activities within the molding division. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of injection molding equipment and all connected production systems.

The position oversees preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, supports capital equipment initiatives, and drives continuous improvement efforts to minimize downtime and maximize equipment effectiveness. This role partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and QEHS teams to support production objectives and long-term asset performance.

Do you have what it takes?

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field is desired. Experience in industrial maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing engineering.

Must Have:

  • Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams within a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in injection molding operations or comparable automated production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and industrial automation equipment.
  • Experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Engineering, and Quality.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Arburg and/or Engel injection molding machines.
  • Training or certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting capital equipment installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS systems for maintenance planning and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $128,542.00 - $192,812.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
