Global Supply Planning (GSP) designs, plans, and activatesupstream supply and inventory strategiesthat ensure reliability, speed, and flexibility while enabling sustainable growth for Target. As the upstream integrator, GSP connects Planning, Inventory Management, Sourcing, and production to provide visibility, proactively manage supply risk, and enable downstream partners tooptimizeinnetwork inventory.

About the Role

As aGlobal Supply Planning Senior Manager,Domestics, you will serve asastrategicleadershaping and activatingcollaborativesupply plans that deliver speed, flexibility, reliability, and growth for Target Owned Brands. Youwilloperateat the intersection of Planning & Inventory Management, Sourcing, and global vendor partnersstrategically aligningsupply & capacity to merchant and sourcing strategies.You will supportmultiple divisions,influenceseniorcrossfunctionalleaders and global teams todriveOB supply resilience, inform sourcing decisions, and enableenterpriseleveloutcomes.

Core responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Upstream Supply Strategies:Design and activate upstream supply and inventory strategies that ensure surety of supply and enable faster response to risk signals.Evaluate business context, demand volatility, lead times, vendor capability, and liability exposure todeterminethe right supply model (e.g.,readandreact,inventory stocking).

  • LeadLongRangeand Capacity PlanningDeliver the3yearOB plan that aligns merchantlongrangeplans with sourcing strategies.Providefactorylevelcapacity visibility where it matters most for sourcing, PSQA, and production governance.These plans providethestrategic foundation for investment decisions, risk mitigation, and supply continuity.

  • OwnCollaborative Supply PlanningPartner with PIM, Sourcing, and vendors to create upstream supply strategies, includingorderflowtactics, stocking strategies, safety stock, postponement, andreadandreactactivation.Shape routines and communication cadences that align upstream production decisions with downstream receipt needs

  • Enable Visibility throughInSeasonVisibility:Providetimelyvisibility to production status, calldate milestones, lead times, constraints, risks, and WIP/finishedgoodspositions toanticipateissues before theyoccur.

  • Deliver Performance Reporting & InsightsCreate andmaintainmeasurable KPIs connected to speed, flexibility, reliability, and business impact,ensuring strategy activation is grounded in data.

  • Contribute to building and scaling Global Supply Planning in Owned Brands.Establish processes, tools, and operating models that elevateglobalsupply planning as a strategic enabler.Own GSP deployment within your pyramidand drive capability iteration through ongoing feedback, projects, and captainships.

About you:

  • Bachelor27s degree or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years relevant sourcing, planning, inventory management,and/or supply planning experience

  • Strong experience architecting, optimizing, and executingendtoendsupply strategies,with ademonstrated ability to translatebusinessgoals into actionable supply network strategies, aligncrossfunctionalsenior stakeholders, and operationalize plans.

  • Demonstrated ability tooperateautonomously, set clear priorities, and drive structured outcomes in evolving environments

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect day-to-day execution to long-term organizational direction

  • Strong problem-solving andcritical thinking capability, witha track recordof applyingadvancedproblem-solvingapproaches to drive high-impact outcomes

  • Proven cross-functionaland globalleadership with the ability to influence without direct authorityacross multiple levels of the organization.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target27s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member27s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
