Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Leadership & Oversight
  • Provide managerial- and controller-level support across accounting and finance processes.
  • Partner with accounting leadership on enhancing efficiencies of close processes, financial analysis, and controls using technology and process redesign
  • Act as a trusted advisor to finance leadership on AI governance.

Systems, Automation & Data Integration
  • Design and implement automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy across accounting workflows.
  • Implement and leverage AI Agent tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar tools to optimize daily financial operations.
  • Build and maintain data integrations between accounting systems, sub-ledgers, reporting tools, and operational systems.
  • Serve as a finance-side subject matter expert for accounting systems and related tools.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors during systems implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

Data Integrity, Reporting & Enablement
  • Improve data integrity, reconciliation processes, and end-to-end data transparency.
  • Support and enhance BI and reporting solutions used by Finance and leadership.
  • Drive data cleanup initiatives and help standardize data definitions and flows.
  • Help identify and apply practical AI and automation use cases within accounting and finance.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong accounting background with experience at a manager, senior manager, or controller-adjacent level.
  • Prior experience in public accounting, systems implementation, complex accounting environments, or Data Analytics functions.
  • Experience with Broker Dealer or Wealth commissions systems and portfolio/ performance systems (e.g., Black Diamond)
  • Recent coursework in or demonstrated aptitude with Agentic AI tool development
  • Ability to translate accounting requirements into technical or system solutions.
  • Comfortable operating at the intersection of Finance, Accounting, and Technology.
