Global Sr. Manager, Digital Integration & Governance

As the Global Sr. Manager, Digital Integration & Governance, you will play a critical leadership role within the End-to-End enablement team. You will be responsible for defining, orchestrating, and governing the way business processes are designed and captured across our R&D, Commercial, and Sustainability functions. This role is central to Mars Snacking's digital transformation. You will operate across key business units to create, simplify and harmonize connected processes, data and systems that serve our associates and optimize business outcomes in close partnership with the digital technologies team. This position requires a systems-thinking approach to harmonize processes and technologies, breaking down traditional silos to drive end-to-end value. You will be a pivotal leader, influencing senior stakeholders and aligning global strategies with regional execution to build the future of our digitally enabled process landscape.

What are we looking for?
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience leading large-scale project management offices (PMOs), digital governance frameworks, or complex system integration initiatives, preferably within a global FMCG or highly matrixed organization.
  • Cross-Functional Integration Experience: Proven experience integrating digital tools and data systems across R&D, Sustainability, and Commercial environments.
  • Systems-Thinking & End-to-End Focus: Outstanding ability to map complex business workflows and harmonize digital solutions across siloed departments.
  • Methodological Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, with experience in User Experience (UX) design, process mining, and task mining.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to influence senior leadership, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and align diverse cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical & Risk Management Skills: Strong strategic and problem-solving capabilities, with experience designing KPI frameworks and managing portfolio-level risks.
  • Change Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading change initiatives that drive digital literacy and the adoption of new tools and compliance standards.
  • Nice to have: Master's degree or MBA.

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Drive End-to-End Value Chain Improvement: Lead digital alignment and continuous process improvement across R&D, Sustainability, and Commercial to remove silos and speed up product launch timelines.
  • Govern Digital Portfolio Standards: Establish and optimize the digital project governance framework, standard operating procedures, and delivery playbooks.
  • Orchestrate System & Process Integration: Partner with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless data interoperability and plan for integration with large-scale transformations like cPLM and ERP upgrades.
  • Lead Risk & Compliance Monitoring: Oversee risk assessment for digital initiatives from a business perspective, collaborating with technical experts to ensure compliance with Mars' security, regulatory, and Responsible AI guidelines.
  • Provide Cross-Functional Insights & KPI Reporting: Design and manage data-driven dashboards that provide senior executives with transparent, actionable progress updates on end-to-end performance.
  • Advance Operational Efficiency and Value Delivery: Identify process improvement opportunities aligned with Mars' Principle of Efficiency, focusing on optimizing enterprise outcomes.
  • Facilitate Global-to-Regional Alignment: Act as the strategic liaison between process owners, regional PMOs, and global DT teams to support and align regional execution.
  • Foster a Governance Culture: Empower, mentor, and train the wider project management community, raising capabilities in digital governance, agility, and risk mitigation.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 134,400.00 - USD 184,800.00
