YOUR IMPACT

The Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting will work with the corporate accounting function to lead various corporate accounting, consolidation, internal reporting and analytical functions.

The Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting will be an integral part of the accounting cycle, providing support and guidance to the Global Finance team, driving financial reporting activities, and be a primary contact for key accounting matters.

The Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting will lead various cross functional projects supporting the function as a whole.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
  • Takes a leadership role in the preparation of monthly and quarterly internal reporting packages including analysis of significant balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and trends to ensure the accuracy of consolidated results.
  • This role provides leadership and oversight for technical accounting guidance and support to stakeholders as the subject matter expert in accounting standards, including but not limited to pension and lease accounting.
  • Provides accounting policy and financial reporting support and advice and interprets accounting standards.
  • Perform analytical review of period end financial results and provided detailed narratives that help support business decisions.
  • Review account reconciliations and promote best practices with Accounting Services to ensure proper accounting and controls are in place.
  • Research and outline accounting standard changes relating to lease and pension accounting and provide reports on findings for future accounting pronouncements as applicable including recommended next steps.
  • Provide support and guidance to other finance teams and the business as required to address financial matters and questions as applicable. This includes but is not limited to External Reporting, Tax, Corporate Finance, Legal Entity Controllership, Treasury, and Internal Audit.
  • Liaison with external auditors during the annual audit and quarterly reviews as required.
  • Develop custom reports and provide internal reporting to the finance leadership team using various internal system and automated tools, including SAP, BPC BW, and Netsuite.
  • Presents to Senior Management Team on an as needed basis
  • Lead global finance projects:
    • Projects include but are not limited to system automation, process improvements around efficiency and effectiveness of current processes, acquisition integration activities, and internal reporting development
    • Development of project plans
    • Leadership role in managing project milestones and providing project leaders with timely status report


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • 5 to 7 years of related finance and accounting experience in a leadership capacity within either the software or high-tech industries.
  • Completion of a degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or Finance or a related discipline - or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent
  • CPA designation (or equivalent) required.
  • Prior "Big 4" firm experience
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
  • Must be detail oriented with an analytical mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to take initiative and learn.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision, multi-tasking to establish priorities, and completing objectives without supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership and management skills to manage and motivate a team/unit as well as cross functional teams and set high standards and clear expectations.
  • Effective written, oral, presentation and interpersonal skills to articulate and present advice, options and recommendations to senior management, executives, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading transformational change, risk management and assessment initiatives to adapt to new or changing requirements throughout the organization, reflecting on lessons learned to analyze, evaluate, and define problems/challenges, identify alternatives, and make timely decisions to manage risk and address issues.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices to coordinate multiple projects.
  • U.S. GAAP experience is preferred
  • Experience with SAP and Blackline is preferred

Salary Range: $110,960- $160,960; Depending on the candidate9s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
