Job Description:

THE ROLE

Entegris is currently seeking a Sr. Process Development Engineering Manager to lead our New Product Process Development Engineering team. This position will be based in our Burnet TX facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for process scale up and deployment of new materials used in advanced nodes for the semiconductor industry. You will lead a team of cross-functional engineers and technicians who partner with New Product chemists and manufacturing teams to develop purification processes. The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to successfully work across levels in a global, fast-paced, continuous improvement environment focused on safety, quality, statistical process controls and equipment reliability. WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop and own safety culture within the development engineering team
  • Collaborate with product management, research and engineering teams to meet phase gate commitments
  • Own project management deliverables for NPD processes
  • Integrate new products into the global factory environments
  • Support critical continuous improvement processes for NPD and manufacturing
  • Create, manage, and validate the deliverables from product development to sources of supply.
  • Develop performance metrics focused on safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and process performance.
  • Participate in establishing, validating, and execution of the supply chain design
  • Use of structured problem-solving techniques
  • Lead, inspire and coach the professional development of the New Product Engineering Team.
  • Manage change through cross-functional partnering in a global environment
  • Ability to travel 15% both domestically and internationally.


WHAT WE SEEK
  • B.S. or higher in Chemical Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
  • Knowledge of semiconductor or related high purity chemical industry is a plus
  • Experience using process simulation and modeling tools to support chemical process design, scale-up, optimization, and technology transfer (e.g., Aspen, ChemCAD, COMSOL, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate modeling insights into robust, manufacturable processes in a high-purity or advanced materials environment
  • Experience with PLM systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and engineering change management
  • Experience with manufacturing process development, design analysis, optimization, value analysis, and strategic project management. (DFSS/DFM)
  • Background in developing manufacturing requirements for global product introduction
  • Experience working within a global, multicultural organization
  • Proven ability to scale new manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement results on a global level.
  • Ability to influence leadership at all levels.
  • Expertise in developing and executing strategic plans.
