Change Management is essential to McDonald's growth. The Change & Organization Activation (COA) COE partners with leaders to support the human side of transformation, accelerate adoption, and deliver lasting business impact.

McDonald's Global Business Services - Change & Organization Activation COE is seeking an experienced Sr Manager, Change Management to lead holistic change planning and execution for the Future of Marketing Program. McDonald's is evolving its global marketing model to be more connected, efficient, and effective, with greater emphasis on data, measurement, and decision support. As part of this effort, McDonald's is establishing a Future of Marketing team to define how marketing capabilities, processes, and ways of working will evolve over time. The team will help the business better leverage scale, improve consistency across markets, and strengthen the overall effectiveness of marketing investments.

This role reports to the Director of Change Management, Change & Organization Activation COE, with matrixed alignment to program leadership. They will be accountable for managing a team of direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Lead large, complex change management projects
  • Lead the development and execution of change management strategies to drive the successful adoption of business and technology initiatives.
  • Design, deliver, and manage clear, effective communications that support understanding and alignment across stakeholder groups.
  • Conduct change impact and readiness assessments; identify and engage key stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement change action plans, including training and targeted interventions to support adoption.
  • Identify change-related risks and design mitigation strategies to ensure sustained outcomes.
  • Assess and validate user readiness to enable smooth go-lives and transitions.
  • Define success measures, track progress, and monitor adoption and change effectiveness.
  • Leverage data and insights to continuously refine strategies and accelerate adoption.


Drive Adoption with One McDonald's Way of Doing Change
  • Stay current on leading change management practices and apply them to support enterprise strategy and priorities.
  • Partner with functional leaders to intake, scope, and deliver change management support aligned to business and market needs.
  • Advise and coach leaders on change strategy, execution, and measurement to strengthen change leadership capability.
  • Lead the delivery and execution of change workstreams using established frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess change impacts and risks across initiatives.
  • Collaborate to define and measure value realization, including input into KPIs and adoption metrics.
  • Turn business goals into impactful change programs with measurable results.


Develop and Mentor Your People
  • Coach and mentor team members to build change management capability and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
  • Provide clarity and context by connecting day-to-day work to broader enterprise strategy and priorities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, engaged team focused on results and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear expectations and accountability to enable strong, consistent delivery.

Support Growth of Change Capabilities Across the Enterprise
  • Apply and promote enterprise change frameworks to build change capability across partners, practitioners, and business leaders.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of change training programs by documenting requirements and partnering with internal and external experts.
  • Identify and engage influential partners to champion change and inspire adoption across initiatives.


Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience leading complex, enterprise-scale change management initiatives across business and technology transformations, including strategic advisory to senior leaders, cross-functional alignment, multi-wave execution, platform-enabled service transformation, and measurable adoption and value realization in a global environment.

The expected salary range for this role is $141,955.00 - $177,444.00 per year
