We are searching for the best talent for a Sr Manager, Strategic Programs to join our Team. This is an onsite/hybrid position located in Raritan, NJ.

TheSr Manager, Strategic Programs plays an integral role in ensuring that projects align with the organization's strategic objectives, maintain high standards of quality, and deliver value. Their leadership and oversight help to champion successful project outcomes and enhance the overall effectiveness of project management within the CAR-T platform. They will apply a combination of critical thinking, project management expertise, strong business insights, and a deep understanding of organizational dynamics! Their primary objective is to manage processes and teams responsible for implementing project management standard methodologies, processes, and policies towards site goals and objectives. The Sr Manager will work in a matrix environment, both within Johnson & Johnson and with our CAR-T collaboration partner, Legend Biotech.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective communication of project and program planning information across the among different departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach through a portfolio management database for project visibility.
  • Track and communicate site portfolio performance and productivity through KPIs, operational and financial metrics)
  • Navigating discussions with team members at all levels to reach agreements that align with project goals in time sensitive situations
  • Commitment to improvement with a growth mindset and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Champion a culture aligning decisions with patient, customer, and employee needs based on Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's or equivalent University degree is required; advanced or focused degree in business, management, or a related field preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical, medal device or biotechnology industry
  • Proficient in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and other Project Management methodologies
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Planisware, Smartsheets)
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced growth situation, with ability to adapt to changing environment required
  • Capable of dealing with ambiguity, working and leading in a matrix environment
  • Strong people leadership including leading direct reports is required
  • Project Management (PMP) or equivalent (FPX) Certification is required

Preferred:

  • Experience in cGMP manufacturing, operations management, quality management or related area
  • Proficiency in communicating and influencing effectively at all levels, while understanding priorities, and building respect and trust, along with the willingness to provide the best decisions in time-sensitive situations
  • Supply Chain (APICS / IBF), Change Management (CCMP),  and/or Green Belt Lean or Six Sigma Certifications are desirable
  • Knowledge of financial forecasting techniques to predict project funding needs and skills in variance analysis to identify deviations from budgeted costs

Other:

  • May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel
  • Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days with the option of two remote workdays each week

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

122,000-208,250

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation –120 hours per calendar year Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member: 5 days for an extended family member Caregiver Leave – 10 days Volunteer Leave – 4 days Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours  Additional information can be found through the link below.  https://www.careers.jnj.com/employee-benefits
