About the job

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Specialist Business Partner (SBP) to serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on business partner to our Product and Enterprise Strategy Specialist leaders. This role will be a critical thought partner to senior leadership, helping translate company strategy into actionable priorities that drive multiproduct growth, customer adoption, and revenue across the Twilio business. The SBP will own and influence key aspects of the business operating rhythm, including forecasting, pipeline and performance management, annual planning, strategic planning, KPI/OKR development, business reviews, and executive reporting. You will synthesize complex business data into clear insights, identify trends and opportunities, and provide recommendations that enable leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Beyond business performance management, you will lead and support high-impact strategic initiatives and cross-functional transformation efforts. This includes identifying opportunities to improve operating models and business processes, driving organizational change, establishing mechanisms for accountability, and ensuring strategic initiatives translate into measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll:
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to Specialist Sales leaders, providing data-driven insights, recommendations, and business strategy while driving alignment across GTM Strategy & Operations and cross-functional teams
  • Drive business performance through KPI reporting, dashboards, executive updates, and ad hoc analysis, translating complex data into compelling executive stories, actionable insights, and clear recommendations that quickly surface risks and opportunities and drive growth and profitability
  • Own the GTM operating cadence, including forecasting, pipeline management, QBRs, and business reviews
  • Lead annual planning and capacity management, including headcount planning, workforce modeling, long-range planning, and organizational design to support scalable growth
  • Optimize territory, coverage, quota, and segmentation strategies to align sales resources with market opportunity and business objectives
  • Streamline processes and improve operational rigor through data governance, automation, scalable best practices, and continuous process improvement
  • Lead strategic growth initiatives focused on pipeline generation, cross-sell, expansion, solution selling, and other opportunities to accelerate revenue and customer adoption
  • Represent leaders in cross-functional initiatives, partnering with Product, Marketing, Finance, HR, Enterprise Technology, and other teams to translate strategy into execution and measurable outcomes.

  • Experienced in establishing and managing sales operating rhythms, including business reviews, QBRs, and forecasting processes, while leveraging data-driven insights to inform recommendations and drive business outcomes
  • Intermediate to advanced experience navigating sales systems and reporting tools, specifically Salesforce, Excel, SQL, Looker, Gong, and Tableau
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and AI capabilities, with the ability to leverage data and AI tools to rapidly generate insights, automate workflows, develop compelling executive narratives, and drive data-informed decision-making
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Location

This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.

Travel

Compensation

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
  • Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $141,520 - $176,900
  • Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $149,840 - $187,300
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $166,400 - $208,000 .
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
