Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Sr. Manager, Ambulatory Access Center provides operational leadership for Centralized Scheduling, Referral Intake, and Registration. This role leads managers and supervisors in executing departmental priorities, streamlining workflows, and driving operational excellence. In partnership with Capacity Management, Clinical Leadership, and key stakeholders, the Sr. Manager identifies access improvement opportunities, implements sustainable operational solutions, and advances organizational goals related to patient access, referral conversion, schedule utilization, and service excellence.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Required:- 7+ years of related operations management experience.
- 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in ambulatory access, patient access, referral management, healthcare contact center or related operation.
Preferred:- Experience designing scheduling templates and scaling new patient access technologies, including AI.
Education/Licensure/Certification: Required:- Bachelor's degree in Health Management or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Preferred:- Master's degree.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification.
Pay Scale Information USD $111,862.00 - USD $152,119.00CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
