Position Description
Seattle City Light is recruiting for a Senior Management Systems Analysts to provide ongoing business and systems support for customer-facing technologies within the Customer Technologies group.
This position is part of the CIS Operations Team, which manages Seattle City Light's core customer information systems including Oracle CCB, MSCS (metering system), the USW Customer Portal, and all related interfaces and integrations. The analyst will report to the CIS Operations Manager and work collaboratively with teams across Seattle City Light, Seattle Public Utilities (SPU), and IT.

This position reports to the CIS Operations Manager.
Job Responsibilities

  • Perform system design, analysis and continued development of technology projects involving considerable scope, complexity
  • Identify, document and communicate business needs to Business Owners and Management
  • Develop work plans and goals for technology projects based on departmental objectives and priorities
  • Lead end user groups in the design, development, implementation and modification of systems
  • Create procedures and train end users on new system functionality and enhancements
  • Assess policy or rule changes to determine impacts on business processes and configuration
  • Participate in solution analysis and design for project scope and requirements
  • Identify and recommend improvements to processes, policies, or procedures
  • Configure, test and implement business system solutions
  • Provide support to impacted workgroups to resolve issues, answer questions; clarify system processes
