Full Job Description

Ecolab is seeking a Senior Logistics Team Leader to join and lead a hard-working team of associates at our Philadelphia location. As a Senior Logistics Team Leader, you will ensure safety, quality and productivity metrics are met while leading various process improvement projects and participating in cross-functional teams on warehouse and network design initiatives.  

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a team of 10-12 associates holding them accountable to savings and productivity standards
  • Oversee logistics activities including inventory control, warehousing, transportation, logistics planning, order processing, and customer service
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in Quality, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing to proactively identify and resolve quality and service issues relating to logistics operations
  • Assist in developing the site logistics budget with a focus on continuously improving year over year performance against metrics
  • Coordinate operational redesign projects to improve performance and meet customer needs
  • Monitor fixed assets and coordinate implementation of approved capital improvement projects in your functional areas
  • Communicate standard logistics metrics to direct reports
  • Resolve quality, service, and cost issues
  • Support oversight of inventory levels
  • Additional Job Duties as assigned

Position Details:

  • This position is located at:
    I street and Erie Ave, Philadelphia
  • Work Week and Shift:
    M-F; 7:30 - 5:00 (with required overtime)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR High School Diploma or equivalent/GED and 4 years of experience in a manufacturing, logistics or related environment
  • 4 years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business or a related field of study
  • Advanced proficiency with SAP, Koerber, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous project management experience
  • Exposure to TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement, think critically, and work well in cross-functional teams

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $74,700.00 - $112,200.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
