Manager, Distribution Client ServicesPosition SummaryWe have an opportunity for a Manager, Distribution Client Services to join our team. In this role, you will monitor and improve distribution client health while leading a professional client-facing distribution team. You will own the customer experience, including project set-up, maintenance, management, import/export, and depot coordination. This position ensures smooth transitions for international shipping of clinical supplies within our supply chain.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Location: Philadelphia, PA

The Role- Supervise distribution analysts, supervisors, coordinators, pre-distribution, and global trade teams; perform reviews, manage performance, develop team members, analyze workloads, and adjust as needed
- Own the customer order pipeline and ensure all clinical requests are processed and shipped on time; guide the Sales and Operations Planning process from a distribution perspective with a focus on forecasting excellence; balance forecasting and demand with distribution capacity
- Review workflow for operational improvements and implement changes where appropriate; collaborate with customers to define study-specific distribution needs and provide solutions for international shipping
- Work with Clinical Project Management and Pre-Production Groups to set up and maintain distribution-specific inventory, including bulk, ancillary supplies, finished goods, and samples
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures; resolve distribution issues and report findings to clients; participate in customer visits, lead client and visitor tours, and attend occasional off-site meetings
- Generate a Distribution Protocol and supporting checklist for every Clinical Trial Material shipment; revise these documents as requested by clients with appropriate approvals
- All other duties as assigned
The CandidateMinimum Requirements- Master's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of relevant experience
- Leadership skills including excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with all levels of stakeholders, strong ability to lead, mentor, train, motivate, direct, and empower a team, influence and lead change, provide strategic and analytical insight for problem solving, and partner with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and develop continuous improvement ideas
- Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience
- Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
Preferred Skills & Background- Previous working experience in a current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) management role is preferred
