About this role:The Project Management Office (PMO) is seeking an eager, detail oriented, and skilled Hardware Project Manager to support New Product Development. This candidate should be a self-starter with a positive attitude, good communication skills, and is a creative problem solver.
Work Location:Manufacturing facility is located Kennesaw, GA. Position is considered hybrid; some on-site presence will be required; typically, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote (subject to vary locally).
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing multiple hardware projects (which include firmware and software team coordination)
- Understanding, complying, and enforcing policies and procedures as outlined in the Stage Gate New Product Development Process
- Creating and managing project plans and reporting dashboards
- Managing resource budgets, project scope, on time project delivery KPI and product quality.
- Leading and coordinating the actions of project teams to produce deliverables agreed upon with executive and/or functional management
- Leading regular project team meetings, working with internal and external resources.
- Project status reporting as required
- Issue and risk management/mitigation
- Escalations management
- Create and apply practices and processes to develop new products and/or services for the Company
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in Electronics Hardware Development or Contract Manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Business, or related subject
- Experience managing technical cross-functional teams including stakeholders such as HW Engineering, SW/FW Engineering, Production Test, IT, QA, Test & Integration and more
- Competencies in: Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams
- Prior experience presenting to executive level stakeholders
- Experience with PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheets, PowerBI etc.)
- Experience in manufacturing environments, including conditions & constraints related to producing new products
- Experience in R&D Hardware & Software Engineering environments, including conditions & constraints related to producing new product
- Experience with sprint preparedness activities
- Solid technical understanding and ability to assist in defining and refining requirements through a project lifecycle
- CAPM or PMP certification
Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other CompensationThis position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
