Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will partner tightly with our Growth, Marketing, and Product teams to translate abstract growth opportunities into actionable insights. As a Senior Growth Data Analyst, you will prioritize business impact and you thrive in fast experiment-iterate cycles and take direct accountability for measurable business results.
What you'll be doing:- Strategic Advisory & Insight Discovery: You will proactively identify trends and anomalies in complex datasets. You will translate these findings into high-impact recommendations for senior stakeholders, moving beyond reporting to actively shaping the growth.
- End-to-End Project Ownership: You will independently manage the full analytics lifecycle-from defining the business problem and gathering requirements to data cleaning, modeling, and final delivery.
- Advanced Data Modeling & Architecture: You will design, build, and maintain sophisticated data models and automated dashboards that serve as single sources of truth for the organization.
- Stakeholder Partnership: You act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Ops), distilling technical complexities into clear, actionable narratives for non-technical audiences.
- Process Automation & Optimization: You identify and automate repetitive data tasks using SQL and Python etc. And you champion best practices for data governance, documentation, and code efficiency.
What you'll need:Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field- At least 8 years experience working in Data Analytics with large-scale data processing tools (SQL, Python etc)
- Strong proven track records in growth, marketing, and direct business impact, with a willingness to explicitly own business impact.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL(Google Big Query)
- Solid understanding of statistics, experimental design, and causal reasoning
- Looker(LookML) developer experience a plus
Bonus Points:- Japanese language proficiency is a plus
This position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area with an expectation of in-office 2 days per week. The applicable salary range for this role is $151,609 to $227,414.
