Senior Graphic DesignerWashington, D.C. WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a Senior Graphic Designer, you will:- Responsible for the overall design and production of illustrations/graphics/visuals, supporting multiple communication platforms.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while simultaneously maintaining a high level of creativity and product quality.
- Develop quality design for the development of campaigns, publications, emails, and digital products aligned with APhA's style and design guidelines.
- Support the design and production of the Association's periodical publications and promotional material.
- Provide guidance for photo shoots and freelance photographers.
- Work in conjunction with the other members of team, providing creative direction, design, and production support for all APhA projects.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR APhA may be the right fit for you have:
Experience and Education required:- A bachelor's degree in graphic design is required.
- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience is required. Association industry/environment is a plus.
Skills, knowledge and abilities required:- Strong knowledge of interaction design, user experience design, brand development, digital marketing, and the creative process.
- Advanced/ongoing knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Asana.
- Knowledge of typography and printer specifications and publication design.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and file management.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
Additional skills, knowledge, and abilities desired:- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple work tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. HTML/XHTML/XML coding, Web, and UX design experience preferred.
- 508 Compliance environment.
- Infographics, photography, and video experience a plus.
