  • Track commitments, accruals, purchase orders, invoices, and actual spend for accurate marketing cost visibility.
  • Prepare monthly reporting, root-cause variance analysis, and forward-looking risks for FP&A and functional leadership.
  • Identify optimization opportunities to improve spend efficiency, campaign effectiveness, and investment accountability.
  • Support benefit tracking for approved initiatives and maintain documentation of assumptions and budget changes.

Sr. Finance Analyst, Marketing & Advertising

Work Mode: Onsite

Location:Onsite, four days per week - Kohler, WI

Opportunity

The Sr. Finance Analyst, Marketing & Advertising owns financial budgeting, forecasting, actuals reporting, cost management, and benefits business cases for Marketing and Advertising.

This role is a key partner to senior Marketing and Advertising functional management, supporting effective, cost-efficient investment decisions that link marketing activity to revenue, margin, and brand outcomes.

The Sr. Finance Analyst, Marketing & Advertising strengthens investment discipline, spend transparency, ROI measurement, and controls over marketing and advertising reporting assumptions.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Own Marketing and Advertising budgeting, forecasting, actuals reporting, cost tracking, and variance analysis processes.
  • Partner with senior Marketing and Advertising leaders to develop spend plans, evaluate trade-offs, and support cost-efficient resource allocation
  • Build financial models and business cases that evaluate campaign benefits, ROI, effectiveness, and impacts on revenue, margin, and strategic objectives.
  • Track commitments, accruals, purchase orders, invoices, and actual spend to ensure accurate and timely visibility into Marketing and Advertising costs.
  • Prepare monthly reporting, root-cause variance analysis, and forward-looking risks and opportunities for FP&A and functional leadership.
  • Identify optimization opportunities that improve spend efficiency, campaign effectiveness, and investment accountability.
  • Support benefit tracking for approved initiatives, including alignment of assumptions, forecast updates, and post-investment performance reviews.
  • Maintain documentation of spend assumptions, budget changes, and investment decisions to support transparency, auditability, and controls compliance.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Procurement, Sales Finance, Category Finance, and business partners to ensure accurate reporting and decision support.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes, dashboards, and analytical tools used to manage Marketing and Advertising investments.

Key Success Measures
  • Accuracy and timeliness of Marketing and Advertising budgets, forecasts, actuals reporting, and cost management routines.
  • Measured marketing ROI, campaign effectiveness, and benefit realization against business case assumptions.
  • Percentage of investment decisions supported by clear financial analysis, options, and recommendations.
  • Spend efficiency improvement and optimization opportunities identified and acted upon.
  • Stakeholder feedback from Marketing and Advertising leadership on partnership effectiveness and decision support.
  • Accuracy, auditability, and compliance with marketing spend controls and investment reporting standards.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
