Job Summary:Textron Systems, a leader in Electronic Warfare (EW) test and simulator systems, is seeking a full-time, experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) to support our fielded A2PATS system in California. The Senior FSR provides direct technical assistance to customers using our commercial digital stimulator equipment, ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of high-fidelity electromagnetic environment simulation systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:- Setting up, operating, testing, and troubleshooting the A2PATS Electromagnetic Environment (EME) simulators and associated equipment.
- Loading, executing, and modifying pre-defined threat scenarios using established system tools and software under direction.
- Performing routine hardware and software diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance following detailed technical procedures and guidelines.
- Interacting regularly with customers to provide onsite technical support, answer operational questions, and communicate system status.
- Documenting service activities, test results, and maintenance actions in accordance with company processes.
- Participating in technical meetings and supporting work performed within secure/classified laboratory environments.
- Following all company safety, security, and compliance protocols.
Qualifications• At least 4 years of direct, hands-on experience in electronics simulation, testing, or maintenance of technical systems in field or lab settings.
• Solid working knowledge of RF systems, modern communication devices, or radar emitter equipment, including routine use and support tasks.
• Good understanding of threat simulation or electronic warfare (EW) operations as applied in operational or support environments.
• Working experience with RF measurement devices (spectrum analyzers, RF power meters, RF synthesizers, etc.).
• Hands-on troubleshooting and testing experience with technical systems, use of calibrated hand-tools, and awareness of electronic anti-static device handling.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues to a variety of audiences.
• Possess SECRET clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:• Familiarity with software-driven systems, NEWEG capabilities, or use of modulated RF signals in a support or operational role.
• Knowledge of EW Systems, ELINT, AMES II, AMES III, CEESIM, A2PATS, UXG, etc.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a complex lab and team environment.
