We are hiring an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our New England Environmental Team. This position can be located out of our Glastonbury, CT office or our Quincy or Woburn, MA offices.
Primary Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects including, but not limited to due diligence activities, site investigation, MassDEP, CTDEEP regulatory projects, and/or federal compliance projects.
- Manage cumulative project total of at least $750K annually and achieve profitability goals.
- Develop $500K in new project work annually.
- Write and review technical reports and proposals.
- Actively source for new business opportunities.
- Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product.
- Ensure safe performance of project work.
- Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
- Hire and manage subcontractors.
What we're looking for:- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or other related field
- Masters Degree is preferred
- 15+ years of related solid technical environmental experience
- LEP, LSP or pathway to obtain professional license.
- Ability to mentor and train staff
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Excellent technical writing and technical communication skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices
- Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required
- Business development acumen
- Familiarity with CRM reporting.
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is highly desirable.
