Full Job Description
Sr Engineers, Software located in Atlanta, GA will work with a team of software engineers to design, implement, and deploy complete systems which meet customer's requirements and are cloud native.

Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Design, develop, and enhance full stack software solutions by implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular frameworks.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices integrating with internal and external systems through cloud services across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
  • Utilize services including GCP Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
  • Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT-based security models.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Create server-side rendered user interfaces using Thymeleaf and develop interactive front-end components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Design and implement data persistence layers using relational databases including MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Deploy and manage containerized and cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and PCF for scalable and resilient operations.
  • Collaborate on architectural design, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to secure coding and performance best practices.
  • Contribute to defining and optimizing deployment strategies across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies and frameworks to enhance scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.
  • Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3-4 days per week.
  • No additional national or international travel is anticipated.


Skill requirements:
  • (1) Designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot frameworks; (2) Utilizing front-end development using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Thymeleaf for dynamic user interfaces;
  • (3) Working with cloud platforms including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) for application deployment and integration;
  • (4) Using database design and development using MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server;
  • (5) Implementing authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT; and
  • (6) Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes for automated deployment and containerized operations.


Experience and education requirements:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, or related, or its foreign equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, or related, or its foreign equivalent, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
