Who We're Looking For
Toyota's Plant Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Engineer - Facility Projects to support facility-related initiatives across manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset, taking ownership of projects while partnering with stakeholders to safely deliver high-quality facility solutions that meet business needs.

What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will manage facility projects from planning through execution, ensuring buildings and systems are designed and delivered to meet quality, cost, schedule, and safety targets. Success looks like driving impactful projects while building strong partnerships and continuously improving facility standards and processes.
  • Lead technical support and execution of facility projects at manufacturing sites, including building design and construction activities
  • Develop and maintain building-related standards to ensure consistency, quality, and long-term performance
  • Define and align design criteria across architectural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and civil/structural systems
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for building systems, supporting facility teams and providing input during project submittals
  • Manage pre-construction planning, project execution, and construction oversight to ensure alignment with key performance objectives
  • Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, collaboration, and consensus-building
  • Develop internal procedures and work instructions to improve team processes and operational consistency


What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree that provides a strong foundation in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience where you've designed and supported building construction projects within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • 5+ years of experience working with facility systems such as piping, power distribution, structural elements, and office interiors
  • 5+ years of experience managing construction projects valued at $5M+ with a focus on delivering results across cost, quality, and schedule
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills that enable you to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Intermediate proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Bluebeam/AutoCAD, and Autodesk ACC/Build

  • Professional Engineering (PE) License that strengthens your technical leadership capabilities
  • Experience within automotive or large-scale manufacturing environments that accelerates your impact
