Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with network infrastructure and protocols, including IMS and IP.
• Expertise in LAN/WAN/ISP protocols like MPLS, BGP, and SIP.
• Strong client engagement skills, capable of effective communication at all organizational levels.
• Exceptional writing abilities for client communications and project documentation.
• Proficient in formal project management methodologies and communication processes.
• First-hand experience in designing Cisco network applications and comparing technologies.
• Proven experience in deploying e911 systems in large-scale organizations.
• Hands-on expertise in wireless technical developments and VoIP technologies.
• Relevant CCNP Enterprise certification or equivalent required; CCIE and vendor certifications highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for all network architecture decisions.
• Develop and maintain high-level and low-level network designs and models.
• Define and enforce network standards for security, performance, and availability.
• Establish architecture standards for critical network components including firewalls and load balancers.
• Support lifecycle planning for network hardware and software, including modernization roadmaps.
• Review and approve changes impacting network architecture and security.
• Evaluate and integrate vendor solutions and best practices into the network environment.
• Provide oversight for monitoring and management platforms to ensure operational visibility.
