Overview

The Senior Director - Signaling & Frauscher is a key member of the finance leadership team, with responsibility for providing strategic financial leadership and serving as a trusted business partner to drive the continued growth, profitability, and operational excellence of the business. The Sr Director will lead all finance activities for a global business with approximately $0.5B in annual revenue, supporting operations and customers across the United States, Austria, Brazil, Australia, and India.

In addition to bringing deep finance and operational expertise, the Sr Director will play a critical role in shaping business strategy, driving value creation, supporting commercial growth initiatives, and ensuring strong financial stewardship across a geographically diverse organization. The individual will serve as a collaborative partner to the Group President/s and senior leadership team, helping translate business objectives into measurable financial and operational outcomes.

Day-to-day, the role will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all finance-related activities of the business. The Sr Director will be expected to navigate a complex global operating environment, drive simplification and process excellence, and develop systems and capabilities that enable scalable growth. The role will also support strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, integrations, and business transformation efforts.

A critical aspect of this position is providing strong leadership to a diverse and globally dispersed finance organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, talent development, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will possess exceptional people leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones.

This individual must be strategic yet hands-on, combining strong analytical capabilities with business acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Other Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in a Financial position
  • Experience in a multinational company
  • Familiar and working knowledge of Oracle, SAP and HFM Reporting consolidation tool
  • 3+ years' experience in project accounting
  • Proven expertise in using remote collaboration tools for communication
  • Strong information systems/ERP system experience
  • Interpersonal and supervisory skills, such as coaching, providing feedback, and evaluating performance of subordinates, and the ability to coach and motivate employees
  • Deals well with ambiguity; can effectively cope with change; can decide and act without having the total picture; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
  • Strong commitment to business ethics and integrity
  • Ability to travel to Austria approx. 50% of time for first 6 months
  • Willingness to relocate to Austria in 6 months
