Role DescriptionThe Sr. Director, Product Management for Gas Controls will be responsible for the revenue, profitability, and growth of the global residential and commercial gas controls product lines as well as portfolio management, resource allocation, and roadmap development.
Responsibilities- Develop strategies and drive the execution of product initiatives for the residential and commercial gas controls product lines, including gas valves, manifolds, electrodes, burners, and thermocouples.
- Build out product roadmaps to align with Robertshaw strategy, key markets, and create differentiation in the target applications.
- Understand customer needs and market trends to drive business growth for the gas controls product lines
- Translate product line strategy and roadmaps into tactical plans and drive execution to achieve business objectives including revenue, profit and secured future pipeline.
- Drive the Product Management team to develop strong relationships with key accounts and align with other Robertshaw product groups to create cross selling synergies.
- Understand macroeconomic, market trends, competition, and disruptor technologies which will impact the business growth.
- Embrace a growth mindset to mentor, lead, guide, and direct talent of the global team Product Management team.
Qualifications- Minimum 10 years' experience combining several experiences in Engineering and Product Management and at least 5 years as a Team Leader.
- Proven commercial and leadership track record to drive global growth, including sales, marketing, and technical teams.
- Experience leading global cross functional teams in a functional organization; demonstrated success in creating a global strategy and driving implementation.
- Clear, strategic thinker with vision and the ability to execute on priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions.
Education- Engineering or Business Management Degree required with a preference for advanced degree (MS, MBA).
The salary range for this position is $180,000 to $210,000 and eligible to participate in our Management Incentive Program. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
